Your goal as an IT/Business Consultant

As part of our international team, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of airline technology. You’ll bridge the gap between IT and business, gathering requirements from the airline distribution domain. Working in a SAFe Agile environment, you’ll contribute to digital transformation projects that enhance the efficiency, profitability, and customer experience of global airlines.

What you’ll be doing

• Collaborate with Lufthansa Group organizations to understand their business needs and translate them into high-impact IT solutions.
• Work together with IT on the solutions side and supervise the end-to-end process.
• Work closely with IT experts and business stakeholders to ensure seamless functional implementation.
• Define and document functional requirements, preparing specifications that bring IT solutions to life.
• Create compelling presentations and documentation to internal stakeholders.
• Drive innovation by contributing to internal R&D initiatives and business development efforts.

What you bring to the team

• IT Expertise: 10+ years of experience in the aviation domain, with a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics or equivalent hands-on practice.
• Project Experience: Proven track record in IT/Business projects as a Business Analyst or Project Manager
• Aviation Knowledge: Strong understanding of airline distribution (particularly NDC and GDS platforms), pricing, fare filing and revenue management
• Familiarity with digital economies and e-commerce trends.
• Analytical & Communication Skills: Ability to break down complex issues, create high-quality analyses and presentations, and communicate concisely in fluent business English.
• Soft Skills: Confident, persuasive, assertive and proactive, with intercultural awareness and strong client management abilities.
• High Performance: Fast learner, able to manage high workload and perform under pressure.
• Tech Stack: Strong MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio).
• Excellent written and spoken English and Hungarian skills.
