Junior Java Developer

This is a long-term opportunity in a deeply integrated project environment, where Hungarian and German developers, business analysts, and stakeholders work as one with close daily collaboration and strong team spirit. 

You’ll contribute to backend development on enterprise systems used by airline operators and customer-facing staff across the group.

These are high-impact systems integrated into platforms like Amadeus, playing a key role in irregular operations and component lifecycle management. • You’d like to be part of a friendly, international team with a strong sense of community
• You’re interested in Java and/or PHP and have already had some hands-on experience with either
• You understand the key stages of application development and can work individually on well-defined tasks
• You’re interested in keeping existing applications running with fixing bugs and developing changes
• You’re curious about both modern technologies and legacy codebases
• You speak and write fluent English daily communication is in English
• You’re passionate about aviation and want to gain deeper insight into how an airline operates

• You’re open to working with a broad tech stack, including:
• Java (8–17), Spring ecosystem (Boot, Data JPA, Hibernate)
• Databases like MySQL and MariaDB
• Frontend & scripting technologies: TypeScript, React, JSP, PHP (CodeIgniter), Material UI
• DevOps & cloud tools: Docker, Kubernetes, Azure DevOps (Repos & Pipelines)
