Release / Problem Manager

We are looking for a professional to join our team and closely cooperate with the Incident Management function, System Development Life Cycle or Change -, Release-, Product -, and Customer Management.

The product is a client-server application used by many airlines all over the world which is responsible for optimizing day-to-day aircraft utilization, enhancing user productivity and improving airlines irregularity management.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading the manintenance activities of a new generation product serving several airlines around the world
  • Manage bugfix delivery processes and procedures
  • Communicate to and support customer managers, testers and developers
  • Prioritize problems based on impact and urgency
  • Assess the effectiveness of problem resolutions and recommend improvements
  • Prevent problems from spreading across other customers' systems by documenting and implementing long-term problem resolutions
  • Generate problem management reports and monthly metrics
  • Gather feedback on the process and system and manage improvements
  • Proactively promote the adoption of processes

  • Are motivated to become an expert in aviation IT
  • Have experience in coordinating people/projects/issues
  • Enjoy taking ownership for the problems and issues
  • Get inspired by finding solutions to problems
  • Are experienced in project management, software development or testing
  • Are passionate about complex, business critical systems
  • Enjoy working in Unix/Linux environment
  • Are looking for a friendly workplace with positive atmosphere
  • Are able to travel abroad
  • Have good knowledge of English and would like to use it in multinational virtual team
