Senior Java Developer

We are looking for a talented Java Developer to join our international team and contribute to the development and maintenance of server-side applications and APIs that extend and enhance the functionality of our purchased products.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and maintain Java-based server-side applications, adhering to Java 11 standards, without reliance on specialized frameworks.
- Contribute to a diverse range of applications, from small tools for specific tasks to complex web services acting as APIs.
- Work on enhancing product features, modeling company-specific processes, and facilitating integration with external systems.
- Collaborate with the lead architect to solve complex problems and deliver effective solutions based on their guidance.
- Analyze, understand, and work effectively within a heterogeneous technological stack and a modular, large-scale legacy system.
We are looking for you if you have:
- At least 5+ years of Java development experience (medior or senior level).
- Expertise in working with legacy codebases.
- Knowledge of unit testing (writing, creating, and understanding tests) and experience with modular system design.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, ease in understanding development concepts, solid theoretical knowledge.
- The ability to quickly learn and the ability to navigate large-scale systems effortlessly.
- Openness to constructive technical discussions to collaborate on finding the best solutions.
- Good knowledge of English and Hungarian both spoken and written.
- Good German language skills – as an advantage.
