Test Automation Engineer - Ground Ops - Szeged
Are you ready to fly with us? As a Test Automation Engineer, you are going to learn about software development in the aviation industry a very exciting business domain.
As an integral part of our NetLine/Ops product team, you will play a key role in shaping and enhancing our operations management solution.
This product empowers airlines to efficiently manage day-to-day flight operations, improve scheduling reliability, facilitate effective crew coordination, and ensure seamless communication across operational teams.
You will be responsible for
- Participating in implementation projects in a cross-functional team as being responsible for test development.
- Create, execute and maintain test automation scripts.
- Developing new features into testing frameworks.
- Understand the technical issues and concepts in applying test automation.
- Engage in all the activities of development lifecycle and proactively improve the QA strategy.
- Validate, estimate of requirements from testing perspective.
- Intensive collaboration within the team and other parties involved.
You will be successful if you have
- 2-3 years of experience in software development/test automation.
- Experience in testing of web applications, API’s.
- Nice to have performance testing experience.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language.
- Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, K6, JMeter, Pact, Mocha).
- Competency in Git and GitHub.
- Nice to have Github Actions experience.
- Open-minded regarding non-functional tests.
- Understanding the test pyramid and enable the team to develop high quality testing on all levels.
- Understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
- Experience in CI/CD.
- Fluency in English both spoken and written.
