UX Product Owner – Design System

In Budapest and Szeged we are reshaping user experience of our company's extensive product portfolio. You can work on either new aviation innovations and on widely used complex B2B systems.

Responsibilities

• Design System Ownership: Within our flagship product family, define and maintain the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the design system and related UX initiatives. Gather and prioritize requirements from stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs, manage the backlog. Own the design system governance, ensuring consistency, scalability. Collaborate with designers and front-end developers to create, maintain, and evolve reusable components. Work closely with front-end engineers to ensure design system components are implemented efficiently and meet performance standards.
  
• Cross-functional collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between UX designers, developers, and business stakeholders. Facilitate workshops, design reviews, and sprint planning sessions to align priorities and resolve dependencies. Balance business objectives with user-centric design principles.
• UX team management: Provide guidance and mentorship to UX team members on design system best practices. Set design standards, improve processes, and ensure team efficiency. Estimating design effort and capacity planning together with team leads, product owners and other design and development teams throughout multiple departments.
  

We are looking for you, if You

• Have at least 5+ years’ experience in a UX/UI design.
• Have strong understanding of design systems, component architecture, and design tokenization.
• Can coordinate UX/UI designers and/or other developers.
• Are accustomed to collaborating on a wide variety of design activates.
• Know how to report team and system progress to key stakeholders
• Have a constructive attitude and process feedback easily.
• Communicate design effectively.
• Use English self-confidently as a working language.
• Are willing to travel and visit our partners and customers.

• Proficient knowledge of coding languages (HTML, CSS etc.).
• Experience in Product Ownership or team management.
