Devops Engineer - Network - Szeged

Your responsibilities will be

• Design, plan, and implement network infrastructures in a multi-cloud environment (GCP and Azure).
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform.
• Automate the provisioning, monitoring, and scaling of cloud network infrastructure.
• Ensure adherence to security best practices in networking, including zero trust, least privilege, and policy enforcement.
• Provide expert consulting to internal teams and external customers on cloud networking topics.
• Collaborate closely with cloud, platform, and security teams to deliver a seamless, secure, and resilient cloud networking experience.
• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for monitoring system performance, identifying issues, and driving improvements in availability and reliability.

You are a good fit for this role if you have

• A strong understanding of cloud-native networking concepts, such as (Shared) VPCs, policy-based routing (PBRs), DNS, and load balancing.
• Proven experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools (Ansible,...).
• Experience with modern scripting languages like JavaScript/TypeScript, GO or Python.
• A solid understanding of DevOps principles, including CI/CD pipelines (preferable GIT), Infrastructure as Code, and cloud service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, FaaS).
• Working knowledge of common security concepts on cloud platforms, including identity and access management (IAM), network security policies, and encryption standards.
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a passion for automation and operational excellence.
• A customer-centric and collaborative attitude, thriving in cross-functional environments.
• Fluent English skills, both written and verbal.
• Ideally, prior experience working in an Agile team setting.
