PMO / Squad Lead (Data Platforms)

We are seeking an experienced Project Lead or PMO with a strong background in Product Ownership, capable of forming, steering, and guiding a team of skilled Data Engineers, Platform Engineers, and Architects. stakeholders. This role involves close collaboration with three internal squads and external.

You will be effective in this role if you have 

• Proficiency in Jira – Expertise in using Jira for tracking work items, managing backlogs, and generating reports.
• Technical background in cloud technologies and data enginering(Advantage): Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and founational data concepts (e.g., data warhousing, ETL/ELT, data governance) is a significant plus.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in a dynamic, evolving environment.
• Ability to define user stories and effectively prioritize work.

Your tasks will include

• Stakeholder Communication & Coordination.
  • Facilitate effective communication and alignment across the three internal product teams.
  • Manage proactive communication and expectations with or external consuming teams who rely on the data platform and our Platform Lead.
  • Oversee and manage incoming requests and issues via the service portal, triaging and routing tickets to significantly lower the direct support load on individual developers.
•  Translate business and user needs into actionable platform features and services.
• Collaborate with engineering leads to refine user stories and define clear acceptance criteria.
• Treat the platform as a product: define SLAs, document capabilities, track adoption, measure satisfaction etc.
• Work Item Coordination: Orchestrate and align work items across our three product teams, ensuring smooth progress and dependencies are managed.
