System Administrator

Boarding in Progress! As our System Administrator you will be primarily responsible for the day-to-day IT support, administration, and performance while ensuring quality standards are met.

In this role the majority of your task will managing, installing and monitoring Unix/Linux operating systems. Our company is growing so are we.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring, patching, troubleshooting and supporting Linux systems and virtual environments
• Manage and troubleshoot end user systems and server-based environment
• Prepare laptop/desktop hardware for new-hires and ongoing tech refresh cycles 
• Manage and troubleshoot malware infections
• Holding internal trainings to transfer knowledge 
• Taking part in introducing new systems (researching, proposing new solutions, implementing, documenting, testing and supporting) 
• Handle central IT equipment (projector, printers, security systems, etc.) 
• Keep internal knowledge base up-to date 
• Create user guides 

Requirements

• At least 3 years experience in Windows desktop and Windows/Linux server support 
• Strong Linux Background
• Expert Active Directory knowledge 
• Strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills 
• Experience in working with Central Management Systems and Central Security Systems (Satellite, SCCM, WSUS) 
• Experience in Trellix 
• IT security knowledge (primarily endpoint and server protection)
• Experience in virtualization, especially in Broadcom and Docker solutions
• Basic IT network knowledge
